The client for this project wanted to rebrand their communication materials to differentiate themselves from another town in California with a similar sounding name. The client also wanted to use these new materials to target a younger audience and increase tourism. With those ideas in mind, I started with designing a PowerPoint template to satisfy these requirements.

The main unifying elements of this slide deck include the linework mountain shape, designed to look like the mountains surrounding the city of Palm Desert, CA, transparent pink overlays, used to highlight text and graphics, as well as full bleed, full color warm tone images.

After deciding on a look and feel for the deliverables, my team and I were able to create an 11x17 print newsletter, an e-blast template, as well as social media graphics, all featured below:
